1.Zinc Plated: Zinc plating is a common surface finish for washers. It involves applying a thin layer of zinc coating to the surface of the washer. Zinc plating provides moderate corrosion resistance and can help protect the washer from rust and other forms of corrosion. It is often used in applications where the washer is not exposed to harsh environments or where additional corrosion protection measures are applied.
2.HDG (Hot-Dip Galvanized): HDG is a more robust and durable surface finish for washers. It involves immersing the washer in a bath of molten zinc, which forms a thick, protective coating on the surface. HDG provides excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for applications where the washer will be exposed to harsh or corrosive environments. It is commonly used in outdoor applications, such as construction, infrastructure, and marine projects.
